Saint-André-de-Cubzac is located in Gironde, Aquitaine, only 26km from Bordeaux in south western France, so it’s not really surprising that many of the things to do in Saint-André-de-Cubzac involve wine! Saint-André-de-Cubzac really is a wine lovers paradise, with many tours and tastings to sample . . .
Saint-André-de-Cubzac is pretty much a sleepy little town, home to around 9,000 residents at the last count, but does have another claim to fame which has nothing to do with the wine . . . their most famous resident Jacques-Yves Cousteau was born here, and is buried in the Cousteau family plot.
